Iowa's Uniform Limited Liability Company Act, codified at Chapter 489, lists activities that do not constitute 'doing business' at Section 489.905. The chapter was retitled and renumbered by Iowa's 2023/2024 LLC act revisions (previously Section 489.803 in the older Revised ULLC Act numbering). Iowa uses 'doing business' rather than 'transacting business' under the current act.
